This guide provides a clear understanding of our application processes for various financial support schemes.

FAQ
A: TSS is open to ALL registered RDSS beneficiaries. Eligible to claim up to $1,800 per financial year (1 June to 30 April).
A: MIS is open to ALL registered RDSS beneficiaries. Eligible to claim up to $600 per financial year (1 June to 30 April).
A: Registered RDSS beneficiaries using ventilators (BiPAP or CPAP) at home. Reimbursement: $100 month for long-term ventilator use. Annual application required. Must be endorsed by medical doctor, medical social worker, or home care/palliative nursing personnel. Submit between 1 June – 30 September.
A: Registered RDSS beneficiaries diagnosed with rare metabolic disorders (HCU, MMA, MSUD, PKU, UCD, etc.). For special metabolic formulas prescribed by attending doctor or dietician. These expensive formulas ($80-$100+ per 500g can) are not available in retail market.
A: Beneficiaries NOT under PFL or SFS support. Two categories: Optical ($600/year) and Dental ($600/year). Can claim both categories but excess amounts cannot be transferred between categories.

❓ General FAQs
A: You can still apply for MIS (subject to terms and conditions) but not the remaining schemes.
A: No. Each beneficiary can only apply for ONE of these three schemes to allow more beneficiaries to receive support.
A: No. Claims are reimbursement-based. Official receipts required as RDSS is audited by MOH annually.
A: No. Hard copies must be mailed to RDSS’s registered address. Do not hand-deliver. Keep soft copies as backup.
A: No. Original inked signatures and institution stamps required on application forms.
A: NO APPEALS for late applications. Submit before deadlines.
