Carry Hope 2025, the flagship campaign by Rare Disorders Society (Singapore), brought together individuals, families, and communities to raise awareness and funds for rare disease patients. Held in support of World Rare Disease Day, this movement symbolizes resilience, advocacy, and hope.

A Mission to Support Rare Disease Families
In 2025, Carry Hope set out to raise $700,000 for the VitalCare Support Subsidy. These funds will help provide life-saving homecare medical equipment, such as ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and suction machines, for families in need.

Five Key Highlights of Carry Hope 2025
This year’s campaign was more than just an event—it was a movement. Here’s what made it special:

1. Virtual 777 Challenge (11 Jan – 28 Feb)
Participants walked and ran 70,000 km in 7 weeks, symbolizing the over 7,000 known rare diseases. This virtual challenge united individuals and teams in a shared mission.

2. Carry Hope Forum (21 Feb)
A platform for discussions on rare diseases, featuring expert insights, caregiver stories, and community support.

3. Carry Hope Carnival (22 Feb)
A vibrant day of performances, games, and activities for families, creating a space for connection and inclusion.

4. Walk & Run (22 Feb, 5–7 PM)
Despite the rain, our participants—including many rare disease families—pressed on with determination. As the event carried on, a rainbow appeared, a powerful symbol of the resilience and hope that Carry Hope represents.

5. Light Up for Rare (22 Feb – 2 Mar)
Supporters took to social media, sharing messages of awareness and hope through the #LightUpForRare campaign.
