Little Hands, Big Hearts: Creating Joy with Lions Forge
At RDSS, we believe in creating memorable experiences that bring joy and delight to our families. This is why we are thrilled to once again collaborate with Lions Forge on their heartwarming initiative, Little Hands, Big Hearts. Together, we aim to transform the creative designs of our beneficiaries into real, tangible items that they can treasure for life.
Who is Lions Forge?
Lions Forge is a forward-thinking company that empowers individuals to create using technology. They are passionate about improving lives through innovation, training, and education, sparking creativity, and inspiring possibilities. Their mission resonates deeply with RDSS’s goal of enhancing the quality of life for individuals with rare disorders and their families.
With Lions Forge leading this project, the imaginative designs of our beneficiaries will be turned into handmade toys and creations, with the help of their wonderful volunteers. These include:
Plush Toys: Lovingly made through sewing and crochet.
Puzzles and Board Games: Beautifully laser-cut using wood or acrylic.
Simple 3D Toys: Non-moving laser-cut creations that come to life.
Complex 3D Toys: Interactive pieces with moving parts for added fun!
This initiative is a testament to the power of community and the beauty of bringing joy through creativity. For children and young adults living with rare disorders, these customized creations are more than just toys – they are symbols of their creativity and individuality, offering moments of delight and pride for them and their families.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Kiwi, the visionary founder of Lions Forge, for always keeping RDSS in mind for projects like these. Your unwavering commitment to supporting the rare community is inspiring and truly appreciated. We are also deeply thankful to the dedicated volunteers who pour their time, energy, and skills into turning these designs into cherished realities. You are bringing smiles not just to our beneficiaries, but also to the parents who delight in seeing their children’s imaginations come alive.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Shawn Huang, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance, and Member of Parliament for Jurong GRC, for graciously gracing the toys handover ceremony. Your presence brought great encouragement and significance to this special occasion, and we deeply appreciate your support for our community.
