iROO will mark latest venture at Jewel Changi Airport by reuniting
with Rare Disorders Society Singapore (RDSS) to raise funds and awareness through fundraising campaign.
Taiwanese fashion label iROO International Pte Ltd is pleased to announce the launch of its latest outlet at the newly opened Jewel Changi Airport with sales of limited-edition merchandise to raise funds and awareness for Rare Disorders Society Singapore (RDSS). The outlet at Jewel Changi Airport will be the label’s fifth store in Singapore after Great World City, Vivo City, Takashimaya S.C Ngee Ann City and Raffles City Shopping Centre since its launch in the island city in 2010.
iROO’s boutique will be up and ready during Jewel Changi’s sneak preview to the media and selected members of the public from 11 – 16 April before it’s official opening on 17 April. The announcement signifies times of progress for the label as it remains undeterred by forecasts of a slight drop in retail sales by the second quarter of 2019. The launch also cements iROO’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the South East Asian market by winning over new fans who will be flying in from all over the region to indulge in the shopping experience at one of the world’s best airports.
In conjunction with the launch, iROO will also be embarking on its second fundraising campaign with Rare Disorders Society Singapore (RDSS) as part of their ongoing efforts to raise funds and awareness on the journey of families with young children suffering from rare disorders.
The theme of 2019’s campaign, “Rare is Lovable” will kick off with a viral video of the same name with the hashtag #RareisLovable2019. With the video, members of RDSS hope to destigmatize the public’s perception towards rare disorders and for it to serve as a talking point to encourage dialogue between members of the public and RDSS families.
The campaign will also feature a special limited-edition leopard print tote bag inspired by the rare Snow Leopard as part of iROO’s leopard print collection.
The tote bags, retailed at $38.80 will be made available at all iROO boutiques island wide (Great World City, VivoCity, Takashimaya S.C Ngee Ann City, Raffles City Shopping Centre & Jewel Changi Airport).
In a statement, Chief Operating Officer of iROO International Pte Ltd, Emily Huang stated that “A healthy enterprise can enhance the lives of people in the society and I strongly believe that individuals and companies alike will join iROO in our efforts in providing relief to these families by helping them improve the quality of life of children suffering from rare disorders.”
