Carry Hope 2025, the flagship campaign by Rare Disorders Society (Singapore), brought together individuals, families, and communities to raise awareness
Join us in a rare, extraordinary collaboration between world-renowned Chinese artist Liu Bolin and Rare Disorders Society (Singapore) to raise S$1 million in support of children with rare diseases and their families.
Canvas of Hope is an art-meets-advocacy campaign that brings together international artist Liu Bolin and the Rare Disorders Society (Singapore) [RDSS] to spotlight the lives of children with rare diseases. This event marks Liu’s first collaboration with a Singapore-based charity, bridging artistic vision with social purpose.
Through two milestone events, this campaign hopes to raise S$1 million to fund therapy, medical equipment, and caregiving support for more than 200 rare disorder patients in Singapore.
Liu Bolin conducts a one-day art class for children with rare disorders and their caregivers, culminating in a public exhibition of The Rare Gallery featuring their collective creations. He will also be present for a signing session of purchased pieces.
Two original works by Liu Bolin, inspired by children’s stories, along with other Singapore-created and selected pieces, will be auctioned to raise critical funds.
Canvas of Hope marks Liu Bolin’s first collaboration with a Singapore-based charity, bridging artistic vision with social purpose. The initiative is made possible through a tri-partnership between Liu Bolin Studio, the Rare Disorders Society (Singapore), and Yang Gallery — combining artistic mastery, community impact, and curatorial expertise in one meaningful project.
Liu Bolin – Internationally acclaimed Chinese artist known as the “Invisible Man” for his signature camouflaged works. He uses his art to challenge perceptions and advocate for environmental and social issues.
Yang Gallery joins Canvas of Hope as the official gallery partner, lending curatorial expertise and regional presence to anchor the public showcase and art auction featuring Liu Bolin’s works and other curated pieces.
